Train the negative

The negative refers to the eccentric part of a rep. This is usually the lowering of the weight and it's often something most people pay little attention to but deliberately training it can have great benefits.


Use both arms for the concentric part of the rep then one arm to lower yourself slowly.


This is a great way to add more variation to your workouts.
